Expanding thinking in Years 3 to 6
At Redlynch State College in Years 3 to 6 we consolidate the foundations of literacy and numeracy learned in the early years and develop more sophisticated skills to enable further learning in each subject area.
Redlynch State College students in Years 3 to 6 also:
- access state of the art facilities including a science laboratory, performing arts and music centres.
- specialist teachers providing programs in Health and Physical Education, Music, Japanese, Technology and Drama and Dance
- Years 4 to 6 also experience our College Camp Program, with a yearly camp in each year level.
As a College we have a unique opportunity to provide a seamless and positive transition into Junior Secondary schooling. Our transition program prepares students for the organisational, academic, social and emotional demands of Junior Secondary. Students participate in orientation days and parents are invited to attend a Year 6 into 7 information evening.
