Why Register for QParents

Now QParents account holders can connect instantly with their child’s school to access and manage their child’s student information, that includes:

  • Viewing and notifying Student absences
  • Viewing and updating Student and Parent Details
  • Viewing academic report cards
  • Making payment online for school activities and viewing unpaid invoices and payment history
  • Accessing the College upcoming events list showing school events, assessment dates, and
  • Coming soon - providing participation consent online for activities such as swimming, excursions and camps

Thank you for moving on line with us to help create a convenient way to communicate student information, help Parents and Carers learn more about their child’s schooling activities, improve transparency and reduce paper waste.

Great news: Redlynch State College is providing our parent community with the opportunity to register for QParents. The QParents web and mobile application provides a more convenient, easier way for parents and legal guardians of Queensland state school students to interact with their child’s school. Parents will have secure, online access to their child’s student information, anytime, anywhere, through a smartphone, tablet or computer.

QParents allows parents to connect instantly with their child’s school to access and manage their child’s student

information, including:

  • Viewing and notifying Student absences
  • Viewing and updating Student and Parent Details
  • Viewing academic report cards
  • Making payment online for school activities and viewing unpaid invoices and payment history
  • Accessing the College upcoming events list showing school events, assessment dates, and
  • Coming soon - providing participation consent online for activities such as swimming, excursions and camps

Invitations will be emailed to you from the school, once you have received the invitation you can register for QParents using the unique activation code. To register you will need to use a computer or laptop, not a mobile phone and use a modern internet browser such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Simply click on these links to watch this Video Demonstration or follow the Registration Process For Parents guide.

In order to complete your QParents registration you will require each child’s unique EQ ID and you must verify your identity by providing 100 points of ID. Your child’s EQ ID can be found on any college invoice or report card. If you cannot verify your identity online, click ‘NOT ENOUGH ID’ to continue your registration prior to attending the college to present ID.

QParents won’t replace the traditional ways you communicate with our school, but it will provide another way to communicate with us anytime, anywhere on your smart phone, tablet or computer.
