The Study Abroad Program is for students who want to come to Redlynch State College for a short term high school experience. International students can study in Year 7 to Year 12 for part of the Junior High School and/or Senior High School program.
The study abroad component allows students to study at Redlynch State College for a period of 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Students are provided opportunities to improve their English proficiency as they study and immerse themselves in Australian culture.
Upon completion of Education Queensland International (EQI) High School (study abroad component), students receive a Queensland school report of their academic achievements. Many international students return to Queensland to complete their education at an EQI High School, or to study tertiary education in Queensland.
If students want to experience Queensland high school for longer than 12 months there is the High School Program where they can complete their high school education. International students who graduate from Year 12 receive a Queensland Certificate of Education which allows students to continue to Queensland tertiary education.
Please see further information on 'how to Apply' on the EQI website.
