Shay has been a part of Redlynch State College since 2011, initially joining as a Teacher Aide when her youngest son entered Grade 1. Her involvement in the school community extends beyond the classroom, previously being the Book Club Co-Ordinator and a dedicated Tuckshop Volunteer since her eldest son's preschool years in 2006.
With 11 years of experience in the classroom, Shay has transitioned into administration, currently serving as the personal assistant to the four Secondary Deputy Principals, a role she finds thoroughly enjoyable and challenging. Before her tenure at RSC, Shay held positions as a personal assistant in the Tourism, Finance, and Real Estate industries.
Proudly, both of Shay's children are RSC graduates who attended the school from Prep. Outside of her professional life, Shay enjoys activities such as hiking and practicing reformer Pilates. Her diverse background and commitment to education make her a valuable asset to the Redlynch State College Council.
