Our Certificate III in Live Production and Services Program is an innovative course that provides students the opportunities to immerse in the world of the Music Industry. Individuals are given experiences to extend their skills as professionals within the countless areas of the industry. It offers further skilling in competencies including audio engineering, lighting design, creating Demo CD’s in a recording studio and managing Live Events.
Students are given the opportunity to coordinate events and work as independent leaders. Industry professionals (including Final Touch Productions) provide many avenues for students to continue skill improvement throughout this course.
The Certificate III in Live Production and Services is an Australian Industry course in which Redlynch State College is one of a few Schools within Australia to offer this subject. Students who display a comprehensive knowledge and practical understanding of the Certificate III have many career opportunities within the music industry and to enter University, to study Events/Business Management, Audio Engineering and Performance.
Students wishing to achieve the Certificate III are required to submit their assessment portfolios and attend an interview.
As an extension of this course, Redlynch State College has commenced a business unit 'Live Production Enterprises'.
This unit operates as an extension our immensely successful Certificate III in Live Production and Services course and offers the following services to local businesses and community events at extremely competitive prices:
- Audio hire and/or operation
- Lighting hire and/or operation
- Staging hire and/or operation
This business unit not only provides more opportunities for our students, it also provides additional employment pathways and connections for our students.
